It is an integral part of Strategy Development plan for 2006-2010. Ex-Erasmus students of the college, teachers and International Relations Office help incoming students in integration of them into college life and social environment.

Outgoing students are supported by the college to attend foreign language preparation courses abroad. Incoming students can attend language courses in Lithuania.

Two placements - training and final - are being organized during study period in the College of Social Sciences.

Placement is a part of study curricula. The goal of a placement is not only acquisition of practical students' skills but also extension and development of students' theoretical knowledge while observing internal activity of an enterprise and applying his/her acquired knowledge.

The college cooperates with many enterprises, both national and international, that provide work-places for placements.

The institution seeks to assure high quality of placement organization. Individual placement tutors are appointed, placement programme is arranged, and practical training agreements are arranged and signed. The content of the agreement includes rights, obligations and liability of the enterprise, the college and the student as well as academic and financial issues of the placement. The agreement is to be signed by three parties - the college, the enterprise and the student.

The placement of the student is monitored by tutors from the enterprise and the college.

The placement is to be evaluated. Students are evaluated by tutors in their work-places. Moreover, students have to provide a filled up diary of the placement and written report about it to the college after the end of the placement.

The content of the report includes assignments received during placement and analysis of the experience received in the work-place. The report is evaluated by the college tutor. The final evaluation of the placement consists of medium evaluation given both from enterprise and the college.

The institution encourages students to have their placements abroad. The college looks for links for international cooperation with foreign enterprises that could provide work-places for college students' placement. This way competitiveness of the college students can be ensured in the international labour market.
