Study aimTo prepare analytically thinking specialists of accounting and finance of business entities, able to analyze the processes taking place in finance system, to manage accounting, to prepare financial statements, to carry out financial analysis of the activity of business entities, to make decisions on finance management and adapt to the changes in business environment.
A graduate of studies will be able:
To apply knowledge of the composition of finance system, principles of its organization and operation, legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania as well as international ones, related to finance system.
To know how to accumulate, systematize and analyze data on the activity of business entities when applying systems of information processing.
To apply differentiate the content and financial processes of economic entities of business and public sector in order to ensure activity and strategic development of an organization.
To apply manage accounting of a business entity when applying national and international accounting standards.
To apply prepare tax, statistical and other financial statements and to professionally present financial information to internal and external consumers in both national and foreign languages.
To assess financial state of the activity of a business entity in order to make finance management decisions.
To plan a company‘s activity, taking into account a changing business environment and seeking a consonant company development.
To assess critically methods and means of enterprise resource management and to submit proposals for increasing effectiveness of activity.
To constantly assess one‘s professional activity, knowledge and experience, to foresee trends of self-expression and self-development and develop one‘s professionalism when acting in a changing business environment.

Graduates can work in finance, accounting and audit departments of companies of various business branches, in public sector, finance institutions, in audit, accounting companies, or establish and develop one’s business.
Studies can be continued in Lithuanian and foreign higher schools, implementing II cycle study programmes in the group of Business and Public Management study field. Graduates, aiming at studying in the second cycle studies of accounting field must conform to the requirements pre-set by the higher school and in the descriptor of the group of study field or fields, have knowledge and abilities necessary for studies in accordance with the programmes of a certain field.
Career Center is an SMK department, which provides individual career planning, work/internship search consultations, helps pupils to make independent, related to studies decisions, and for students – to integrate successfully into study process and labour market, coordinates Alumni Club activity and implements monitoring of graduates, communicates with social partners and representatives of the employers, organises seminars, courses and lectures.
