What documents do I need to apply?
1. Official Qualification Recognition by Lithuanian ENIC/NARIC. The detailed process is described during the application process;
2. Reference from a teacher;
3. Entry qualification documents (e.g. High school diploma);
4. Translation of the documents to the English/Lithuanian/Russian languages. Often you can get a suitable transcript from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translation(s);
5. A copy of a valid passport (must not expire for at least 6 months).

What is the application fee?
120 euros.
Can I pay tuition together with the application fee?
Yes, it is possible.
If I do not get a visa, is my fee refundable?
Yes, you can always ask for a refund of the tuition fee.
Do you offer any scholarships?
Yes, we offer 20% Scholarship for Eastern Partnership Countries and 40% Talent scholarship. You may apply for a scholarship when you are uploading the rest of your documents here.
Should I take an English language test (FCE, IELTS 5+, TOEFL 59+ or LanguageCert IESOL B1+) if my previous studies were held in the English language?
A document from your previous school proving your study language is enough in this case.
Can I work during my studies?
Yes, 20 hours of work per week is permitted for international students in Lithuania.
Are there any country limitations?
No, SMK is open to accepting students from all around the world! We do not take into consideration an applicant’s race, religion, national origin, sex, or country citizenship in determining admission to the college programs.
Does SMK assist in receiving a visa?
Yes, we provide assistance through the whole process.
How do I apply for a Lithuanian visa?
You should check the requirements of the documents and then find the closest Lithuanian embassy to you, and then just book an appointment. We will assist you through the process. More information.
When is it recommended to start the application process?
As soon as possible! It is best if you start the application 3-4 months in advance, as visa and document verification procedures can take a long time.
What are the prices for the study programmes at SMK?
All prices vary and start at 2200euro / per year for EU citizens, or at 2980euro for non-EU citizens. You can check all the prices under the specific study programmes at smk.lt
