Teaching Mobility of lect. Diana Garlytska to Skopje, FYROM
SMK University lecturer Diana Garlytska has participated in teaching mobility to International Balkan University (IBU), partner university in Skopje, Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia during April 30- May 6, 2018. The mobility allowed lect. Garlytska to both deliver lectures on "Sustainable development.Financial Instruments for Its Implementation" and attend the 3rd INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON SOCIAL SCIENCES AND HUMANITIES (IBU-ICSSH2018) “SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENTS: TRENDS AND OPPORTUNITIES”. Ms. Garlytska most values the opportunity to learn best practices and trends on sustainable development in Balkan region shared by conference speakers and fellow experts during discussions.
Additionally, the visit has allowed to enhance collaboration opportunities between partner institutions, exchange teaching practices and methods etc. Fellow Macedonian experts in the field of Sustainable Finance have shared overview on Green Banking Services & Products in FYROM, which allowed Ms. Garlytska to better learn the advances in her area of expertise in the Balkans.
The cultural activities as a part of visit were reflected in Gala Dinner during the conference days, which took place in the historical sight Kurshumli An. This was a unique opportunity to learn the culture and history of the host country. Overall, it can be concluded that the teaching mobility was rather fruitful and contributed to the internationalization of SMK University of Applied Social Sciences.
